Hey guys,
I remember a while back when people are doing engine work they would show pictures of a tube of toyota sealant? I ,of coarse, am a toyota fanboy-whore and would gladly jump on the bandwagon and buy some sealant to do engine work. Such as honda bond for hondas, is toyota sealant all that great? (stolen picture from sinyk) anyone know if my local toyota parts dealership will have it in stock or would i most likely have to buy it online? Where did you guys get yours? its it worth all the trouble to get some when you can easily grab some rtv from autozone/napa/kragens... ect? |

According to the factory manual, you only use FIPG at the half-moon joints (tiny spots) and use the rubber gasket. Works for me and the rubber gasket is reusable, which FIPG is not. |
