Decided to make our own pod holders and the results are great.
Fabricated from scratch, moulded from ST205 dash, designed to fit 52mm gauges. Made in 2mm thick black leather grain high impact polystyrene, making the leather effect same as the original Toyota dash. It will be held on by using double sided tape. No need to drill anything anywhere!!!! This post has been edited by yellowchinaman: Jun 23, 2009 - 7:59 AM |

Sorry Manny, but the instructions on how to make anything are outthere, this is not a new discovery of information, but it is time and money invested, if anyone is interested on making something like this, it can be done, but it is disrespectful to ask the seller for instructions on how to put himself out of business. When doGGy showed pictures of his work, noone ask for instructions, we know what's involved on making those pieces, but not all of us have the skills to do it, It'd have been disrespectful if we asked for dimensions to jeff when he made the rear strut bars, we could go and measure the car and do it ourselves, but he was taking part of his time to make them for people, same with anyone else selling anything here. These small projects / business are also part of a community, they are created because of the lack of interest of bigger companies, the community develop their own parts / upgrades. This is the same situation that happened not long ago with Randy, He did a great work on the rain deflector, he can not / should not / doesn't want to share the specs, because that's his work, and people should not be entittle to it just because they are members of the community, he didn't like the idea of someone else using his pictures for advertising a similar product, let alone someone trying to get his drawings and he's in all his right, why ? because it was his time and resources invested toward that.
