I took my car to the mechanic today to change the fuel filter. After 2 hours of work he says he still couldnt unscrew the lower nut (fuel intake?). Packed everything back the way it is. Any advice?

The nut is all battered from him trying to take it off but it still wouldn't budge.

(It's a 7AFE btw)

even with the flare wrench it can still be damned near impossible to get that apart. i had all the right tools and i could not do mine on the car correctly at all. if the nut seizes to the line and won't spin on the line it can get nasty in a hurry.

atleast he was honest about it.
