I took my car to the mechanic today to change the fuel filter. After 2 hours of work he says he still couldnt unscrew the lower nut (fuel intake?). Packed everything back the way it is. Any advice?

The nut is all battered from him trying to take it off but it still wouldn't budge.

(It's a 7AFE btw)

first you need a flare nut wrench, and pb blaster. get the two wrenches, shape em up like a scissor and squeeze em together. mine was stuck like hell too. of course if it is too damaged you may have to use a vice grip for the lower nut. you might need to also reflare that line if needed.
