just wondering if anyone on here could give me a guide as to how much paint i would need to buy, primer/base coat? top coat colour? could do with guide as to how much paint and thinners if using spray guns, and how many rattle can it would take, im no expert so probably a bit of waste |

The paint should look good on the Celica...as similar to the MG...both cars have lovely curves. The type of paint on the MG is known as pearlescent so on the outer extremities of the bodywork curves produce a lovely subtle colour variation.
With a black Celica, you could get away of spraying a solid black paint without needing clear...the blue would need the extra protection of clear. This clear would produce the shine. I have a solid black colour Celica myself and as long as I keep it clean/waxed/polished, it looks great...but the clear of the blue would add more protection and stops paint fade etc. |
