Got this idea from another post so I wanted to try it out.

Well it first started as a pos c/f hood that had flown off someone car and I had gotten it for dirt. So I Tried to paint ended up just forgetting it until now. I didnt know the look I wanted to go for until I saw this.

I knew I could make somthing close to that. After about an hr of measuring and taping I had gotten an out line and just went for it.

In about 20min I had gotten this far

Than I had cut the backing

And this is with both vents.

Everything was done with this lil fellow

Everything so far took me about 2-3hrs. Half the time was spent measuring and taping. Well tell me what you think about it so far.

To keep the sides down I was goin to fiberglass the bottom side of the vents and bondo the top so it will look flush I got the idea of this process from this site I found years ago and had wanted to try it on my old ra65 but never got around to it. So since Im doin my swap and was thinking of ways to vent the extra heat I thought this would be a good way besides goin the GT4 hood(plus this hood was just suking up dust) This is kind of a trial and error thing but the more work I do on this the more Im really liking this. O and the hood is goin to be my raceing one. ie four hood pins plus latch. So hopfully its not goin to fly away lol
