There is a cheap junk yard locally, and they just got a 5th gen celica. The celica has rear disc and i'd like to do that on my 6gc.. is that possible? Oh, and the 5th gen also has a front strut bar, will that fit my 6gc?

Thank you.

Alrighty, well, I read in a how to here that;

QUOTE
The parking brake on a 6th gen. GT with discs in back doesn't use the caliper to stop, it uses an internal drum brake. Fifth generation Celicas use a similar setup, but beware that they use a smaller center bore, so fifth gen. GT rotors cannot fit on a sixth gen. hub.

whats that supposed to mean?

that means that the rotors from 5 gen is different than the 6 gen, so you better change all the hub system, use the entire 5 gen rear system for the brakes, so at the end you'll have 5 gen system on the back and 6 gen on the front
