hiya people,
got myself a nice gen6 Jap import (UK dweller here) it's an auto 2liter and has these buttons

also this scary red one
http://img230.imageshack.us/i/062509223504.jpg/
the 'pwr' button i've figured out (it lets the engine rev to the redline before shifting gear) and illuminates a sign on the dash that says 'ect-s auto'
the other button lights up a sign that says 'ect-s manu'

anyone?

"shift lock" it's written there... but since I do not have AT car I don't have idea what it should really do with car...

EDIT: from Wikipedia about automatic transmission modes smile.gif

"Conventionally, in order to select the mode, the driver would have to move a gear shift lever located on the steering column or on the floor next to him/her. In order to select gears/modes the driver must push a button in (called the shift lock button) or pull the handle (only on column mounted shifters) out."
