What are some really cheap really easy performance mods I could do for a total of less than $1000?

Assume I'm not technical enough to do anything more complicated than changing the oil, and I'd like to be able to keep using 87 Octane fuel if I can. I'd also like to preserve the reliability of the car, and if possible I don't want to do anything that I can't reverse.

Now that I've tied your hands...

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Cool... Does that cost include labor for installation? (I can't trust myself to install half that stuff...) And what's SAFC? (I'm smart like that.)

Thanks!

no prob Doc

SAFC--Super Air Flow Converter

basically it adjusts the amount of airflow coming into your engine....with mods and adjusted air flow ratios you could get a pretty decent gain

by the way....thats not including labor....intake you can do (check the how-to articles they're helpful) exhaust is faily simple with the right tools and the right ground clearance, headers i would have a shop do that for you (since you'll have to get some custom ones done anyway) and the SAFC have done by a shop with a Dyno or a dyna pack or jet for great results
