Yeah so my sunroof/moonroof started leaking not too long ago. Every time after it rains and I leave to work in the morning water comes pouring from the sunroof cover and rains on my head and down my back. Not a good feeling after already taking a shower prior to getting in the car. I checked to see if the two drains in the front were clogged by shoving a wire hanger down them too see if i can unblock anything. Also i checked the weather stripping on the sunroof for cracking but everything is fine. Now what I did notice is that when I fully close the sunroof and get out and look along the top that one side of the sunroof is slightly higher than the other side. Also I see a very small gap between the weather stripping and the roof of the car. Can this leak be caused cause the sunroof is not closing all the way? and if so is there any adjustments I can make to line up the sunroof to properly close?

Was goin to reply earlier....anyway. Use compressed air to blow out the drain tubes (4 in all). And to get it to line up (im assuming your talking about a height difference), add/remove some shims untill it lines up. If you need some, I have some extras laying around that I'll give to you. As far as putting silicone, thats a real quick fix, and yeah, it'll stink (especially in Texas....or anywhere hot). Gomz, same thing for you, if you need some shims I got em. I think I have 4-8 total. If its just lower than one side then it should only take 1.
