Hey Everyone
So i installed new KYB struts and Eibach Sportline springs on my 98 Celica about a year ago. Now recently i took a look at them and at the bottom part of the spring it seems like when the spring compresses they actually touch eachother because the red paint has come off and rust is starting to form. Plus when i pull in and out of parking lots and making sharp turns i hear a knocking sound. Could that be from the springs cus they r touching eachother. Has anyone had this problem with these springs? |

The struts might be blown. Are they GR-2's?
Knocking could be that the spring isn't seated properly and is moving around. It could also be your CV's knocking. It could also be the blown shocks. You put the bumpstops back in when you installed them, right? Could you post up some pictures of your strut assy? -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money
