Hey guys;

My GTS just died on me on the highway from work today.

It just went dead while I was driving...

I managed to get off to the side of the road, but now I'm stranded here.

The engine will turn and if I turn the key to the "start" position and put it in gear I can move the car forward and reverse, but the engine won't fire.

I've popped the hood and notice a small bit of smoke coming up from around the tranny area, literally right below the top rad hose. (5SFE)

I will look up how to check the computer when I get home to see what the code is, but does anyone have any ideas off the top of their head? frown.gif

although you could be right, have you ever changed the t-belt? that can be a big cause there too!

No, it looks like a hooker put her acid vag on your hood. Acid vag = bigger problem than a few dings.

No I haven't.

That was my next big project...

Although - the car moves when I put it in gear and crank the engine...
