I am doing a tranny swap on a 96 St from Auto to Manual. Im ordering my parts within a 2 week time period and I am hoping to do the tranny swap over my 2 week christmas break. Hopfuly in a day so Im not out of commission. I know other people have done this swap before and i read somewhere that somebody would email you a list on how to do it. Please I need to know its just me and my dad doing this and it needs to be as smooth as possible with this swap. If someone could give me a parts list htat would be great. the junk yard has a list of what i need but i want to cross reference with them.
Thankyou for helping. ---Scott -------------------- hows it taste motha f*cka

-Tranny
-Shifter/cables -Flywheel -Clutch Master cyl. -Slave cyl. -New clutch -Clutch metal fluid lines -Rubber clutch line -Flywheel bolts -Pressure plate bolts -Clutch pedal assy. -Manual brake pedal assy. -Tranny fluid -Brake fluid for clutch this is the list used to gather parts for my swap. Get everything you can from a junkyard, otherwise you have to buy it new from Toyota and they will rape you with over pricing. But somethings you want new, such as the clutch and pressure plate bolts, maybe even the flywheel. I dont know anythign about the wiring, had a shop do my swap.
