Hey all, been a car audio enthusiast for quite some time now and wanted to start a thread for posting pictures of your car audio setup.
I currently have a JVC in-dash DVD 7", purposely bought the non touch screen so people wouldn't dirty the screen up. Speakers are stock and always have been, they work great, my deck has a built in hpf and they already sound great. As for subwoofer setups I've been all over, my very first setup in the celica was a 12" MTX 9500 hooked up to a Hifonics Brutus 1600watt rms amp, then the amp fried(sub was too power hungry even with a 1 farad cap). So then sold that and got 3 8" JL W6's, one of the tinsel leads came undone eventually and got rid of those too, traded for a xbox360 and a bunch of games. After about a year I finally decided to get a new subwoofer setup. Guy here on base was lazy and didn't want to throw his setup in his new car so he sold it to me. I currently have a 12" Alpine Type R hooked up to a 1000watt RMS Alpine amp. I'll tell you this current setup is cleaner than my others, it isn't as loud but I'm more for SQ more that SPL now. Now its you're turn guys/gals. If you have any questions regarding car audio send me a message, I'd be more than happy to help you out.
