Hey guys, a mate of mine pointed me in this direction, he has a gt4 celica and well i drive a slow ass corona with a 3sfe, he thinks a 3s-ge from a celica etc will bolt in apart from the altezza black top motors

i am not wanting to be cutting and moving the metal mounts on the chassis

so is he right can i swap in a 3sge into 3sfe chassis munts, he says i will need 3sge engine mounts which is no biggie...

i was tempted to go 3sgte but i think 260hp in a FWD car is just overkill and the chances of getting constant traction in 1st 2nd or 3rd gear without popping the tyres before i can hit 4th are slim lol

how much more poke will i get out of a 3sge ver the 3sfe the 3sfe is 125 hp and the 3sge's im looking at without going for a red top are around 170hp, i know ill feel the power but is it going to be quick enough to keep me entertained.

sorry if im asking blatent n00b questions, usually into my bikes so want to know all this will actually work before i go out and buy a motor ecu loom etc...

Also if i wanted to turbo the 3sge down the ine what levels of boost can i run as a reliable daily driver, i would be hoping for 8-10 psi.

Cheers guys

Skid.
