Just fitted my hybrid ct26 turbo yesterday..and it overboosts like mad...even with the max boost at .95 bar and the actuator set at 35% it still hits 1.18 bar, but the performance is slugish and uninspiring...any ideas on how to set up the boost controller, or what I can do to control the overboost?????

Never checked ignition timing, Everything is factory ST205 except for the turbocharger unit which is CT26. The downpipe is unmodified, In my profile I have listed as cat deleted, this is actually untrue, i wrote that before i found out that the cat converter was part of the down pipe. there is an extra resonator after the down pipe which I thought was in place of the cat converter but its additional to it. Then it really sounds like the problem is with this "upgraded" ct26. You mentioned that you saw the wastegate move at 10psi. Its actually supposed to open at 7psi from the factory. This extra 3psi along with a full 3in exhaust is what could be causing your issues. Who knows what was "upgraded" on that turbo. The wastegate arm could have been bent during install, or upgraded to a stiffer one (i think fendsport offers this upgrade) and on a ct26, its not a good thing. If I were you I would buy a used ct20b and install it on there myself. It would not only fix your problem, but gain you a good 30-40hp that you lost by having that turbo installed. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
