Hi all,

I just got my ST205 half cut smile.gif and it came with ABS. The question is, is it better to go ahead and install it on my ST202? any reliability problems, brakes jamming...etc

thx

i dunno but you dont have the rear abs things so i would say its useless???

do you really need abs? wink.gif

installation is no issue, reliability and effectiveness is...thats why i need feedback from the dudes whom are using it smile.gif

in that case ide say yeah if you can be bothered going through the massive task of installing the stepper motor and running all the hard lines, and wiring in the abs ecu.

its very effective and relaible, and if anyone tells you they can stop better without abs then with they are full of ****.

I duno if the 202's have the same abs units as the 205s (when they are factory abs i mean) The 205 abs has g sensors in the stepper motor that can diffrentiate between cornering and straight line breaking and hence give the correct ammount of braking force to the correct wheels at the correct time. Toyota called it "sports abs" and was pretty advanced for 1994.
