Hi Guys,
I've got a bit of a problem with My Celica 1.8ST. It has started revving a lot higher everytime I start it up and I havent got a clue why. The tick over is set to about 750-800 revs but its revving at around 1500 when it starts up (never used to do this) and it seems to have lost power (not as quick as it used to be). Any suggestions? It has a few other issues (exhaust has started blowing a bit but I'm getting a new exhuast to cure that) and the alternator belt is squeaking a bit which is also getting sorted. Any advice would be apreciated guys ![]() Cheers |

Yeah it does. I take it its nothing out of the ordinary then? Every car I've come across idles higher while cold than while warm ![]() I wouldn't worry about it. It didn't do this before? I think that is slightly weird, if so. -------------------- ~Moving on to a 2002 Corolla S~ R.I.P Tom Celica - 1994-2010 |
