Just a thread for people to share there ideas and tips advice whatever on snow driving, things to do with the engine,check ups, tires, anything, anything thats worth sharing

Wrong forum, btw. As for my tips-

Try not to drive in snow as much as possible, because nothing will rot your car out faster than snow and salt/sand that they use on the roads. Always try to hit up a car wash after a big snow storm and get as much road grit off as you can.

Also, driving on snowy roads is dangerous anyway, so when youre driving in the snow always keep a large distance between cars because you never know when you might loose traction. Be aware of everyone/everything around you and drive defensively, and use your head. I always keep my car in one gear like 2nd on really bad roads and 3rd on kinda messy roads.

Other than that, just keep your car in really good running condition so you dont get stuck somewhere and make sure your tires are inflated properly to their normal pressure....you need all the grip you can get.

Also, if you live somewhere really rural like i do, find a really quiet spot and do some e-brake donuts in the road where there arent any trees/people/cops. biggrin.gif
