Just a thread for people to share there ideas and tips advice whatever on snow driving, things to do with the engine,check ups, tires, anything, anything thats worth sharing

On top of the distance thing, let the car warm up. I learned the hard way that valve springs don't like high rpms before they get warm(old car broke a rocker arm because I got in and was on the highway doing 80 less than a minute later in -10 degree weather). I generally let the needle get just above the bottom line before I even take off, and try to keep it under 3k rpms untill the engine fully heats up.

Other than that, just take it slow. Treat snow the same as you would sand/gravel/dirt.
