where's the best place to tap off for the power on the reverse glow gauges? got em in just wanna make sure that i get the wiring right. and the black wire just needs to run to ground right?

Ideally, you should use a SPDT relay to tap into a circuit to power a device such as indiglow gauges. You'd use a SPDT automotive relay, and hook up the terminals as follows.

85 - Wire that gets +12 volts when parking lights are on, such as dimmer wire. I know that with some kinds of indiglo wires however, giving them less voltage than 12 volts will make them not work.

86 - Ground(chassis ground, not the ground wire of the indiglow gauges)

30 - Fused +12 volt power from battery/power distribution block

87 - Power wire of indiglow gauges
