AH HA so it's as capable as i thought... great.
I guess this sorta encourages my rediculous plan if the stock head with stock valve timing flows enough to give you over 400 ft lbs of torque thanks alot man now i'm seriously going to do it hahaha. I want to WPC treat the stock pistons and rods and buy new race spec main and rod bearings as well as piston rings have those WPC treated as well. Then run an emanage ultimate with 880 CC injectors and 264 degree cams using the factory turbo and water to air intercooler setup and see where it all maxes out. I guess your experiment also confirms i would need to upsize to a full turbo back 3inch exhaust. I'll let the clutch die before changing it just to see its exact limit. Great work. I'm amazed that you got that far with the stock head. I'm going the route I'm going just so i can say i smoked an evo or a subie with a stock engine on stock pistons and stock rods with stock management using a stock turbo and intercooler hehe. |
