None of us really know do we???? We keep hearing< "i heard they fit" There are thousands of totaled 7th gens in the junkyard. Somebody go pull off one rotor and one caliper. If the caliper has a mounting bracket, pull that off too. Why hasn't anybody done this? I cant find a 7th gen-thats my excuse. Somebody do this please. Lets solve this once and for all. We all benefit.

We all benefit. TBH no one in the UK wanted to try this because every one in the Celica club UK agrees that the gen 7 celica brakes are the biggest let down on the car. Most even upgrade to the ST205 Calipers so why would you want to put gen 7 brakes on your gen 6? the reason why this was important ( for US at least ) is the option of bolting 7th gen Big brake kits to our cars with no modification, there are some brake kits made for the 7th gen that range from 700 and up, a lot cheaper option than buying one advertise for the 6th gen which typically runs for over 1100. I had a 7th gen GTS brake system on my car for over a year and have no complains, it didn't feel as a obvious upgrade, but they perform really well, now i have upgraded to the ST205 brake system, and I have yet to really push these brakes to see how they stop my ST, I still have to do some tweaking to my suspension in order for the brakes to behave / perform as they should. -------------------- ![]() |
