Alright, so I'm pretty sure my clutch is going. Here's what's happening, and I'm just wondering what parts I need in this kind of situation. And possibly about how much the parts cost, and how much work it would be to do it myself.

Alright, if I have it in like 4'th gear around 40-45MPH, and I floor the gas, my RPMs take off, and my speed stays the same. Indicating, to me at least, that the clutch it slipping. So what would I need to replace it? I don't really need a high performance clutch, just OEM replacement would be fine.

I just got done doing mines on a s54 by myself (first time)the only time I needed help was to help guide in the tranny back in. I would recommend you get at least 2 people so it can be done faster and you will have to take everything attached to the tranny apart just an idea of what you will be doing. You will want to get new gaskets for your tranny drain and refill bolts I think they're crush gaskets I've had to get new ones everytime I take my axles apart to do work on the car they leak if you reuse them. Having a car manual helps too. Its not too bad if you know your way around the car or cars lol.

Also a good video to look at in the stickies.
