being able to adjust it also allows you to be put reverse torque on it... on a solid piece... once its installed there will still be a small amount of play between the bars and the bolts and the mounting location... this makes it easier to install (otherwise you would be trying to install a bolt that was just "a little bit off the hole")... when you have an adjustment.. you can fit the piece and then expand it til its actually creating pressure on the bolts BEFORE the tension (rocking of the car) creates the pressure... in high performance this is a great attribute over non adjustable... everyday driving will really not notice any difference though... but some of us do have 6gcs that are not everyday drivers only thing is... the over piece you removed this idea from... it shouldn't be too bad because if installed correctly you have pressure coming from the weight of the car when you pull your jack but adjustable would be better....

only thing is... the over piece you removed this idea from... it shouldn't be too bad because if installed correctly you have pressure coming from the weight of the car when you pull your jack but adjustable would be better.... Hi pitfighter. I didnt quite understand what you meant about this bit sorry. Other notes. The adjustable rods have counter locking nuts which stops it from moving after. We aim to fabricate products for track users mainly where performance is more important then syling and our main target audience in the UK are mostly Toyota Sprint Series racers which are featured in Bansai magazines every month. Most people would settle for a regulare 2 point strut brace which does help for road use and for looks but once on track your car does go through alot of structule strain. The 6G isn't actually as rigid as what most people think. If you are a track user, wanting to win you must always thinka about safety, strength, weight and performance. The current prototype currently weighs 3.5kg. The final produc was redesigned to be stronger then the prototype and lighter at an estimated weight of 3kg or less. |
