I bought an oil drain bolt from Autozone and it came with a light blue rubber gasket. When I removed the original oil drain bolt, it was all metal and no gasket. Anyway, I completed the oil change and ran the car around the block. Oil level is good and there's no oil on or around the new oil drain bolt with the gasket. I should be all set right??

I did hand tighten the new bolt with gasket and gave it a 1/3" turn (a bit more than 1/4" because I figured the gasket would crush and seat a bit more than if it were just a metal bolt).

Well, I checked my oil drain bolt gasket after driving home today and it was a tiny bit wet so I turned the bolt another 1/2" turn and it seated tightly (but not too tight).

Also, I noticed some oil along the side of my oil pan where the drain bolt is and noticed a couple bolts at the bottom of my intake manifold were wet as well (possibly from getting sprayed)??? I don't think it's an axle seal because I had that replaced about 4 months ago. Any thoughts on what it could be? It's not enough to leave any signs on the pavement when parked oddly enough.
