Ok, I think I might be daring enough to try it. I know there is something I could use to allow the LEDs to signal normally, instead of the rapid flash. Which I was going to ask what I need and how to install it (and even where). But I also wanted to know if once I do this, would it affect the rear turn signals since the bulbs run at with more watts?

It's just a matter of changing your stock flasher relay with an aftermarket one. They are all over ebay but I'm not sure of the quality, as they are only a few bucks whereas an auto parts store will charge over 20 for one. The trick is finding one that plugs right in to your toyota...I got burned on ebay once before because it looked like it would fit but it didn't....it was only a few bucks but still it was a waste of time

Really? But what about the rear regular bulbs when I signal? Are they going to be normal? I can probably go to like Autozone or something and pick one up. I wouldn't imagine it being more than $12-15 for it. I just wanted to allow my car to accept LED turn signals, because I have some that I couldn't sell, and they are really nice, only that when they signal, you can hardly tell because it is happening so fast.

The standard flasher relay is meant to see a certain resistance from two regular bulbs...when one of your bulbs is burnt out or you put an led in it doesn't see the load it needs and it flashes fast (this is a safety feature). An aftermarket electronic flasher relay uses a small circuit usually with a 555 timer to click the output at a preset rate regardless of a load being placed on it...some of the more expensive ones feature a variable resistor so you can adjust the rate of flash to suit your application.

So it doesn't matter if you have two led's per side or one incandescent and 3 led's, or no bulbs at all. The aftermarket electronic relay will still flash at the same rate. The downside here is you don't know if one of your bulbs are burnt out......the upside is they shouldn't ever be burnt out because they are led

Ok sorry, I wanted to ask one more time. Is this something I can pick up like at Pep boys, autozone, or Kragen? I dont' want to wait for it on eBay. And thank you for your help, most helpful and appreciated.
