Hi,
I was hoping someone could enlighten me with the different models around the world. In Australia, all we have is the Celica SX and Celica ZR, both have the 5SFE 2.2L, which is pretty lame. There are GT4's around, but all of them are imports. I have seen people talking about SSIII, GT,ST and all these other models, I have even seen some come with a 1.8L motor ? How slow would that be ? I know that in Japan they come out with a 3SGE, because my mate bought an engine from one and put it in his ST162, standard with a Microtec (aftermarket ECU) he made 146HP at the front wheels, thats pretty damn good for a NA 2.0L Anyway, i'd love to know what all these other models are and which countries they are in. -------------------- 2 X ST165 GT4's
1 X ST162 Celica 1 X AE82 Corolla Seca SX 1 x AE92 Corolla 20 Valve Turbo (THE20V) And currently a 1995 Celica SX |

^ thats good but some of the points on SS-II and SS-III about power, due to late update, just want to add this thread in here aswell might help on ST202
ST202 Celica info also I've seen this come up a couple of times ST202 H <<< apperently the H refers to widebody (??), I've read on a NZ site someone selling their celica, stating it was a widebody. ccuk makes a note on there info aswell QUOTE (CCUK) A final character is used to denote LHD, RHD or Convertible (export only), or Widebody (H) (JDM only).
