make sure all sensors are good, and inspect when it arrives, my vvti sensor was broken and ists going to be 260usd if i cant find it in the us

make sure all sensors are good, and inspect when it arrives, my vvti sensor was broken and ists going to be 260usd if i cant find it in the us well I know corollas and celica GT from 2000 and up had VVTI maybe its the same sensor? All the vehicles now have vvti... What about that one that they sent you that was supposed to be good, why doesn't it fit? I'm thinking of changing the timing belt, maybe the water pump, maybe cam gears... I don't know what else or how much that would cost...
