I really wanted to know what is the best offset, which I know there are threads that are about that. I may have to research those, but I wanted rims that look like these Enkei rims http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-Enkei-Sc...sQ5fAccessories
However, I wanted 17x8's and in silver color and NOT universal looking, meaning I want exactly 5 bolts/pattern. Any recommendations, some with a good if not perfect offset? My friend had some BBS on his 2nd gen eclipse before it got killed by a honda (an idiot driver), and his tires were very wide and the wheels were flush and perfect on his. 17x7 just seems too small of a tire to me, doesn't give that aggressive look. hey Faust, i must say those are some nice looking rims! but i think 18 would be to large. on that thought i need some help from all 6gc members.
I am looking for some leightweight 16 or 17 inch rims that weigh no more than 16 or 17 pounds each. I know that there are 17 X 8 enkei rpf1 with offset +35. 8" wide is pretty wide already. I know that having wide tires will slow down your car. wider is not always better. I do not want any rims that are more than 7.5 inches wide and the +35 offset from the rpf1 will clear stock st and gt brakes right?? I do not care how much the rims are...
