Ok, so here they are. And here is what happened......
Wife and I were driving home from Dallas when it started to rain again, I had to get into the left lane to make my exit. So we are driving for a while when I see this splash guard flying in the air about 200 feet in front of me. I thought it was a part someone had laying in the back of their truck that wasn't secured. My wife saw that actual impact, needless to say everyone started to brake and swirve to the side lanes. Had no room on my left so I applied the brakes and turned to the right. Well, the Caviler in front of me decided to turn right to avoid hitting the car in front of him. Too bad I was already going that way. Pretty much an impact was unavoidable, but when he was turning I hit the passenger side of his bumper and I dont know if he was giving his car more gas or what cause he went flying into a semi trailer. Im pretty sure that had he been applying his brakes, he wouldnt of hit the trailer. To set it straight I was not speeding, I was traveling well under the speed limit, but to try to come to a complete stop when the roads are slick and under 200 feet, not going to happen.
Three things that made this situation worse.
1.) The driver of the Liberty and the driver of the Silverado say they are both at fault. My wife told me they pretty much merged into each other.
2.) When the accident occured people kept on zooming by, no regard for anyone but themselves.
3.) The worse, the driver of the Caviler had no drivers license, no state ID, and the car was registered to his dad (as well as the insurance). No where on the insurance card did it have the drivers name.
Needless to say, my day sucked, still hurting a bit and to top it off I gotta play the insurance game. Guys, I'm real sorry about having to bail out of the drive. I really did look forward to it, ive got maps and everything that were all ready to go!

Here is the Jeep Liberty, one of the two vehicles that caused the accident.

A close up.

The other vehicle that caused the accident, Silverado.

First pic of the Forenza, and the splash guard that I saw sailing through the air. It came off the Silverado I believe.

Passenger side shot of the Forenza.

Driver side of the Forenza.

The Caviler that I clipped from behind. I know its hard to see, but the only damage that I caused was a 8-10 inch dent on the rear bumper/quarter panel.

Front shop of the Forenza at the body shop where we got towed to.

Another passenger side shot of the Forenza, at the body shop.
