 Power Antenna power question |

I don't need the motor anymore for my power antenna. I was wondering, on the bottom of the motor, there seems to be a thick black chord coming out of it which I can only assume is powering this. Is it safe to cut the chord when the car is off so I don't have to have this broken monstrosity in my celica? No, I don't need to ever hook up another motor to it in the future.

Nvm. I just pulled on it and the wire disconnected and fell out of the bumper on the floor. Haha
No wires were inside. Wierd. What was this insulated hollow chord for? -------------------- |
