Hey all...used the search but still not satisfied.

OK, few fat jokes allowed but I am at my wits end.

I have the following mods.

1. 4 x OZ 16'' wheels. 225 45 16 @ front. 225 50 16 @ rear
2. Spax -40mm springs
3. KYB GR2 dampers

now the fronts are fine, but I have rubbing at the back but only the right side. only on harsh cornering or dips on the freeway at speed. No idea what itr is.

here are pics.

this is a pic with 225 50 16's all round. I later changed the fronts to 45's.

how it is now.

the struts are a year old and springs 2 years.

what could be wrong? if t was 2 sides i would be able to guess, but i'm confused as it is just one side.

J

your car is not that low, your struts would have to be really blown and at the same time you are cornering really fast to rub. Unless your rims are leveled with the fender i don't see why that is happening. unless you have neg camber or your tires are too close to your suspension. or your fender plastic is loose or hanging and rubbing on your tire. Can you test if your shock is worn? try getting a spacer too and check if it works. whats the width of your rim?
