Ok, so I found a Celica SS-III here in Japan, where I’m stationed right now... i can pick it up for a grand. What parts off of it can be put on my 94GT when I get home? I know the wheels can be swapped, and the engine as well (though I’m putting a 3S-GTE engine in my GT back home), I’m not too sure about the breaks, hood will fit (my GT has a dent - BUT, I’m wanting the WRC hood eventually)..

ALSO: would ANY bolt ons I get for a 3rd revision 3S-GE fit on a 3rd revision 3S-GTE? because if so... I might get some of the "cheaper" of the bolt ons I have picked out for the GT and put them on the SS-III while I’m here (just a thought)...

Also needing a price list of what I would expect to make from selling any (and I mean ANY) parts off the SS-III stateside (or online)....

Any and all help much appreciated.

IF the tranny has LSD, would it be strong enough to hold 500whp?

the engine itself would have more torque (bad thing), and there's no variable lift with the cam lobes.. in order to use this engine in my 94GT i would have to lower the compression ratio, disable VVT-i, throw in some adjustable cam gears, and still would have excessive torque (FF stick - too much torque = BAD), and still have little aftermarket parts available for the engine itself, as well as having to get custom made camshafts for more aggressive cams...... too much money and work to end up with the exact same engine with too much torque and worse gas milage...

i'll be sticking with the st205 3S-GTE engine for my GT, and supposedly if i get a 3S-GTE manifold, i should be able to turbo this engine fairly easily (as long as i don't go for too much pressure).... then use all the parts on the 3S-GTE later and sell the 3S-GE engine.

not to sure about the air sensor on the 3S-GE either, if it's MAF or MAP, but i know the 3S-GTE has MAP, which is a good thing for where i'm going with my project....

JDM goodies - i'm already planning on all the bolt-ons i get transferring over to the GT once it gets it's forged 3S-GTE in her, as well as the wheels (until i can get a good set of matte black 18" wheels), electronically folding mirrors, POSSIBLY transmission (if it'll hold up the power AND has LSD), seats (again, until i can get racing seats), maybe door pannels, and DEFINITELY the JDM tails (getting them smoked), and if it has projector headlights, i'll have those smoked and swapped too. anything else i should rip from this thing for my GT when i'm about to get shipped back stateside?

would the super-strut suspension be a good part to implant into the GT as well? just how adjustable is the super-strut suspension? would it be one of those temporary things i'd use until i can get this? http://www.octanemotorsports.com/p19672/94...oduct_info.html
