Ok, so I found a Celica SS-III here in Japan, where I’m stationed right now... i can pick it up for a grand. What parts off of it can be put on my 94GT when I get home? I know the wheels can be swapped, and the engine as well (though I’m putting a 3S-GTE engine in my GT back home), I’m not too sure about the breaks, hood will fit (my GT has a dent - BUT, I’m wanting the WRC hood eventually)..
ALSO: would ANY bolt ons I get for a 3rd revision 3S-GE fit on a 3rd revision 3S-GTE? because if so... I might get some of the "cheaper" of the bolt ons I have picked out for the GT and put them on the SS-III while I’m here (just a thought)... Also needing a price list of what I would expect to make from selling any (and I mean ANY) parts off the SS-III stateside (or online).... Any and all help much appreciated. -Ѐ†Ã†ÇH |

i don't know what transmission is in the SS-III, but if it's an E-153 LSD i'm DEFINITELY using it, as that's what my "alternative" that i've been planning to use is. i was planning on using a 93-95 MR2Turbo E-153 LSD tranny all along. i KNOW it can handle the power, it's my best bet thus far.
and what do you mean i'll "need" a double or triple plate clutch? i was planning an "EXEDY Stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch Kit" which SHOULD be suficient.. it's designed to hold for AWD performance applications, and with FF "too much power at once" is more likely going to spin the tires than slip a high performance clutch... it's designed to handle torque and i'm trying to get this thing set up with as little torque as possible while still reaching 500whp... and what about synchros? this i don't understand from what you said..... |

No ST chassis ever came with an e153 bro. s54 or e56 is what will be in it. |
