 WOT at 182K, effects |

So I have a very solid block with 182K on it. The head was fully rebuilt several months ago. My car runs great, doesn't burn oil, and has great oil pressure. I was wondering...how much WOT driving can I get away with? Not the floor it from a dead stop either wot. I usually take off at an average pace and then WOT it from 2nd through 4th. Is this going to kill my motor quickly?

Whenever I get on the highway. Regular driving, I'd like to shoot for 50%. Right now...maybe 20%. Why do you ask?

Forget that then. I just want to wot it maybe up to 5500 rpm then but I don't want to have to worry about it too much. I ordered the mild set of webcams and they give the best performance at wot through the power band up to 6K from what I was told.
My main interest is if (with my block at 182K and it is in great condition) with the webcams install, can I wot it whenever I want to (as long as I don't redline it) without causing damage? This post has been edited by 6G96GT: Oct 20, 2009 - 2:16 PM |
