I baught a 94 Prelude S with 141k miles on it. Has a F22A1 in it.
Here is what it needs; Bit of engine work, only running on 3 cylinders(kinda). Has compression, changed plug wire, plug, etc.. could be injector, maybe rings? Windshield(Got one quoted, they come to house and install it, $163.. Got that cash already, but saving incase I need for engine.) Rear quarter rust(usual honda cancer) Drivers side rear quarter needs a bit of bondo Small dent on passenger door(bondo, or pop back.. both? lol) Front bumper(lol) Passenger side fender(least of my worries tbh) Drivers side CV Boot/axle (it clicks when you turn left, whatever though) That's about it really. I got it for $500, and drove it back about 2 hours. Not trying to dog on Celica's, I love Celicas and all, but atm the prelude running on 3 cylinders smokes my 7afe celica.. then again I haven't driven my celi in a few months.. And the prelude made it back on 3 cylinders and such 2 hours, celica can't drive an hour without blowing a gasket.. lmfao.. I love my celica though.. Sad i gotta get rid of it(or fix it for cheap cheap cheap)... But i'm prolly gonna part it(already got a thread) Pics. -------------------- I still own my celica, but i'm parting it out and junking it.. Or selling as a whole. Have a honda prelude now :(

lmao your never gonna get your money back outa that lude, imo that guy seen you coming... from the looks of the rust on the out side i can just imagine what ur floors and sub frame look like....my question is why is ur dad so against the celica? lol did he not see what you brought home??? "he dad check it out! bought my self a rust bucket thats running on 3cyl's that needs a ton of work!" way better then that celica i guess.... in all honesty my opinon wouldnt change if this wasnt a celica forum....like cam said you should have just bought something reliable that didnt need work, then down the line you could banked money and bought a sporty car again.... you friends need to learn more about cars....hondas and toyota's...pretty much every thing from japan aint that hard to work on, except for the few pain in the a$$ cars.... iv worked on preludes of this gen and i find them harder to work on then any other car iv wrenched on...
any who....oh and also 50 bucks for a motor....you seem to think that will solve those issues....its prolly 50 bucks for a reason yea know -------------------- i hate snow, missing my celica |
