ok, bought an exhaust off my cousins friend today that was for a honda, think he paid 175 for the exhaust. its just the muffler though i was wondering if anyone had put something like this on and could tell me how it sounds.

ok, bought an exhaust off my cousins friend today that was for a honda, think he paid 175 for the exhaust. its just the muffler though i was wondering if anyone had put something like this on and could tell me how it sounds. but its only a muffler not a cat back, will this change the sound at all? the sound difference is very minimal when running an aftermarket muffler with stock piping..it wont give you the full potential roar of it. i first had a greddy evo 1 muffler on my stock piping. it was crap, the sounds noticable. but not as much as id like it to be. later on i put in a short ram intake. the intake def gave a noticable sound. following that i finally got 2.5" custom catback. and that definitely helped make my evo muffler sound louder. and finally, once i put in my headers, it sounded like a beast has awaken..absolutely love it..deep tone..very loud..and it doesnt give me that fart cannon crap(depends on the muffler you get however). and i sound off a bunch of alarms everytime i drive in parking garages or neighborhoods. :] my celis a GT so it has more power than the st This post has been edited by sunwukongg: Nov 13, 2009 - 12:44 AM |
