 Dead Turbo |

I think I killed my turbo. It doesn't look to good. I added an oil reallocator to the car. http://i922.photobucket.com/albums/ad61/do...1-21_231434.jpg
After 3 days later my old pressure light cut on and I started hearing a scratching sound then boost went to zero. I pulled over right a way and had the car towed home. There was no oil leaks anywhere. I pulled of the air filter and took a picture of the inlet. http://i922.photobucket.com/albums/ad61/do...1-21_214320.jpg Should I have it rebuilt or should i get CT27 or upgrade? But you can buy GEN3 Exhaust manifolds for cheap (50USD) and pick a GEN3 CT20B for around 500usd. As far as the DP, you can buy one for the GEN3 and spend as little or as much as you like...they range from 60-300usd. If money is not an issue, then I would buy a bigger turbo kit for you car...Like an S252, GT3071, or td06. This will fix your problem, be an upgrade, max out your injectors, etc. The only down side is it will cost you about 800-1500 more then replacing your turbo with a CT20B turbo setup from a GEN3. --------------------
