Seriously guys, I cannot decide. I only plan on throwing down around $3.5k on one of these and because the SC300 falls within my price range here in California, has given me another option to look at. I wanted another (eventually) project car that must remain as a daily driver until my conversion is complete next year before I can really touch it. So I just wanted to see what your thoughts are. I honestly am getting anxious to just grab another car, although no real MR2's are coming my way.
N/A's are going as low as $1300 up to $2600, MR2 Turbos have too much stuff on them that folks are selling and going for $6k and higher. I know there has to be some available in between, so this poll is basically asking if I should wait. Or if I should just go ahead and grab a SC300. -------------------- 91 MR2 Turbo SW20, 92 MR2 Turbo SW20, 95 Celica GT ST204

the mr2 is godly unpractical, engine in the middle takes up all the room. By the time you find one in your price range they would be in pretty bad shape.
I would rather settle with a lower mileage Lexus and touch a similar prices mr2. If your looking for a fun car to drive, why not get a miata? The old ones are dirt cheap and still have great weight balance along with some rwd action. |
