Is this possible or am i in way over my head. Im guessing ill need to find a company to make a clear lens mold of the foglight ones. From then i do wish to install HIDS in the foglights, but it could become problematic as do they even make projectors that small to fit a small area as the foglights? As i really dont wish to just have clear lens with hids as it will most probably shine on oncoming traffic. Plus projector retrofit will look way better, then again it might fit in the enclosure as ive seen aftermarket projector foglights for sale and they are quite small.

I guess this is a brainstorming thread, as ive had this idea this past week as the foglights arnt fitting in with my headlights and turn signals.

Ps. I do recall TRDGT4 (the guy from NZ) have clear lens for the his gt4 foglights and they looked real good. I guess ill do some research and PM him about it. Only if my internet was not capped it wouldnt be as painful to go on the internet.

I can mold just about any plastic, and I will probably sell taillight cover on the internet, but making clear replicas it easy too, but right now I dont have the tools to make them, I will be getting the tools by next 2 months, after that Ill begin my taillight re-fabrication and make them with a new shape and with LEDs, also I will remake my headlamps and retrofit projectors, demon eyes, and LEDs and also I might re shape them and make the low and hi beams just 1 headlamp instead of 2 on each side.

oh and dude I definetly dont recomend HIDs on Celica foglights, since they are 95% plastic they could probably melt!

waiting for LEDs for next project
WOW recieved the LEDs, just tested a set up on a breadboard and I can barely see anything lol. I think I'm closer to being blind !!

if you can mold any plastic can you see how easy (and how much) it would be to make some headlight covers, but i am looking for some with a twist, i'm makeing some custom low beams and i would like to get a clear cover that follows my bumper, have it pictured in my head just have not figured out how to do it yet....any ideas

make saveral sketches on a notebook, and everytime you draw it again, try to make it better than the one before and when you come to a conclucion that it cannot get any better than that, but make sure your design is not going to make the car worst looking or doesnt matches the curves of the car, because if you dont do it folloing the curvature of the car its going to look like KR4P, then when you have your "final" sketch and you have a visual image of what it could look like, hold it next to the car and compare the design and the car try to put them toguether"not physically biggrin.gif , that would be retarded laugh.gif " after that make sure everything would be correct and you are 90-100% positive about doing it, start building, if you messed it up, just try to see what the problem(s) were and try not to make them the 2nd time.
hope I help you, thats just the method Ï use before making any changes to my celi smile.gif. oh and about the other guys doing the HIDs on the fog lights, just ask them if they used the OEM plastic for the housing or a different one, if its the same OEM one then just do it, maybe the HIDs arent as hot as I thought.
and when you are done with your project dont keep it to your self, let us see it and compliment it smile.gif I just know this is going to turn out great!
