I just bought 94 Celica gt hatchback and it has no heat being that its December this is a bit of a concern! I bought it from a friend and so far we have burped the coolant and tomorrow we will be changing the thermostat but if that doesnt work are there any suggestions?

flush your radiator, maybe you've got a clog to the heater core

And for the 7th gen guy (actually for both of you) are you sure you're letting the car run long enough? The whole country is in a huge cold snap right now, they take a while to get going and warm up before some heat comes out of it. Drive it around for 15 or 20 minutes and if the heat still doesn't come on, then continue investigating. Make sure your A/C isn't on too lol

Yeah i drove it for an hour on a highway last week through multible snowstorms with no heat the whole way I will check the valve (whenever I find it!) and i will get the oil and coolant flushed next week (after pay day!)
