 Can I remove my Cruise Control Assembly?, I hope I posted this in the right area |

I was wondering how or if I can even remove my cruise control. I don't have the cap that covers it and it rattles to the point that it drives me crazy. I have plenty of time on my hands now that school is out, and I really want it out of there. I cut the wires when I installed my new steering wheel, so I know it is at least safe enough to have that control switch removed for it. But I want the hole dang thing out of there!

it moves the throttle because when you engage the CC it pulls and holds the throttle pedal
 I dunno about cutting it though I'd just find a way to tuck it.
