anything in particular to do to release the pressure, is the stuff recyclable ?

While I wouldnt consider 134 toxic, EPA [retty much hates it when you evac it into the atmoshpere. A evac and fill really shouldnt run that much money (unless you plan on doing this all the time), you could get the gauges and tank though. Changing the compressor or something?
