So this guy is selling this car, but I have no idea where he is getting 18k for what it's worth?
Here is the ad: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1853647 Does this seem like good pricing to you? I was thinking like somewhere near 10-12 would be a bit more appropriate. Anyways I know this isnt a classic celica forum, but what do you think? here are some pics: This post has been edited by Tanuki: Dec 5, 2009 - 3:59 PM |

There were originally a pair of them. Owned by brothers. I am going by memory and what I know of the one brother.
The cars were built and sorted out as road racers in the late 70s and early 80s. This one would have been owned by the brother I don't know. However, the cars were built nearly identical. These cars are well known to the older folks in the community. The engine is new since I last saw it. However, the suspension and all else is well sorted and thought out. I am not sure about the engine, and I have no opinion on that, although it is becoming rather popular in the 1rst Gens. I don't agree with the price, and I would assume that this owner is owner #3 or higher. Other than the engine, I can tell you most positively, he didn't do all the work. Of the work that was done before he owned it, it is top notch, and I doubt any expense was spared. I also don't see the price. Depending, I might see $15k tops being fair. But the swap could take it either way. -------------------- Your thinking privileges have been revoked!
I am now your thought process. QUOTE Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference. |
