Is there a difference between st185 and an st205 converter as they are the same in shape and bolt up mainly the internal lay i need to know as i have just Failed emissions (head wrecked) and everything else is fine no leaks but timing slightly off.

If your CO was high and the other two readings were low (not even just passing, but well within specs) then take a look at your O2 sensor. If your timing is off, that might also produce much the same results as a rich AFR, which can also produce a high CO reading.

Redoing the timing now having bother with the timing belt though just changed it and now rubbing off the engine and buring so getting hole new kit as i think one of the pullies are off. Will check the sensor though could well be it.
