k soo heres the story.. as of right now, my car sits in the garage at maaco because it wont start.. over the past 2 weeks my car has had some trouble starting up in the morning and at night. i would start it and it would stall out instantly.. i would do it again and rev it to like 2500-3000rpms and hold it, it would sputter a bit and then smooth out.. i was thinkin it was just because it was cold out idk.
motor has 200k on it btw so today my mechanic (manny if ur reading this it was Johnny) picked up my car to replace my axels and then im guesssssing decides to take it for a joy ride because he ran out of gas as he was bringing the car back.. i met him and put gas in the car and it wont start.. turns over with NO PROBLEM and with plenty of juice to the battery.. we tow it back to maaco and put it in the garage and i finally got it started but as soon as i give it gas it GAGS hardcore! so its obv not gettin enough fuel to the engine im guessing .. so does anyone else think it could b that or somethin else.. please help! lol i miss my celi already UPDATE********* k so after 3 machanics and about $250 later my cat is FINALLY fixed and running betttter then ever.. turns out my distributor was bad but that is now replaced and all timed out and runnnning great.. im soo happy lol after 2 weeks of driving my moms camry (2.4 vvti .. wasnt to bad) i was soooo excited to get behind the wheel of my 5s again omg the sound of my exhaust (and now hallowed out cat.. thats another story) was like an orgasim to my ears lol.. anyways thats the good news.. next mission is to paint my valve cover and order my TRD spoiler This post has been edited by Ted95: Jan 7, 2010 - 1:38 PM -------------------- st205 powered ss3 coupe

camron, take a short peice of wire, and in your diagnostics box, bridge the FP and B+ pins with the car in the on position.
you should be able to feel fuel running thru the return line, and in the line from the fuel filter to the rail. if you dont, the pump is bad. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
