CURRENT with painted wheels:
I figured I might as well start a progress thread since I have a lot of spare time at the moment. When I first bought the car it was just a form of temporary transportation until I could find something newer, until I found this site o_O. I stumbled across the car on autotrader.com and couldn't help but notice the perfect condition it was in. Perfect paint, pristine grey leather interior, and flawless under the hood. I was only tentative because of how little power it had, but it gets great gas mileage so that's a plus. I first fell in love with 6th gens playing gran turismo 1 back in the day, and always wanted to have a gt-four. Here are a few photos since I bought her about a year ago: New wheels: In desperate need of spacers/better offset: 20mm spacers installed in the rear, along with clear sidemarkers and corners: lowered on megan springs and KYB shocks w00t Lacking front flushness, in need of spacers: The other day installing new speakers: New shift knob + 7th gen short shifter Much more to come. What did you do with your boots, if I may ask? I think my mounts are probably okay, seeing as I have 79.5k on mine. I'm just not sure if the boots even need to be transferred, or what they're for really...protection against the elements?

I'm just not sure if the boots even need to be transferred, or what they're for really...protection against the elements? I just kept the original boots. They seemed to be in good condition. And yes they DO need to be transferred so you don't get dust and junk all up in your shock absorbers. |
