Davey, I think you might be thinking of the clear lens group buy? Not the same thing, since those would replace the stock lenses. I'd love something like these, since the front looks awkward at some angles due to the headlights. However, I think it would be nicer if the headlights themselves could be brought flush with the bumper, since having a lens over the headlights themselves might look a little weird.

I think that would be quite difficult to do as the headlights are the wrong shape to achieve that simply by moving them further forward with bracketing. Perhaps it would be possible to do create lenses like those in the clear lenses group buy, but make them much deeper so they finish flush. But one would need new rubber gaskets and a way of fixing the gaskets. Not that it couldn't be done, but it would need quite a lot of design work, sourcing and so on. Mkaing them from smoke coloured plastic or even that slight mirror effect plastic would probably be the way to go. Perhaps painting the bit of bumper behind the plastic grey would help too. -------------------- Davey

I was thinking more along the lines of eliminating the primary lens and then somehow moving up the assembly, then fitting the clear lens in the original post over the bulb. Yes, but unfortunately I still don't think it will work with the original accessory lenses pictured above. I think it could be done by making a new clear plastic primary lens, some kind of hybrid based on both the accessory lens and the clear primary lens from the group buy.
