 Engine Mounts, Type A and Type B |

I did a manual trans conversion earlier in the year, and so far I had changed out all my mounts to the manual mounts except for the main engine mount. I get some shaking on 1st or reverse so I'm guessing thats the prob right there. The main engine mount on the pass side is still the old auto mount from 1994. I went on toyotaworld and toyodiy and they lists two types of manual trans engine mounts TYPE A and TYPE B. What are the differences between the two. I want to change my auto mount to a manual mount. Type A looks like the correct one.

so type a then. My auto one looks like type A. But the mounting areas look exactly the same between the two. Looks like it would both work.

Looks like it would both work. my asumption is a and b are both listed because the side to side mounts are mounted the same on both tranny's OR, when they made the change in 98 and 99, they reinforced the moutns for i don't no what reason (explains price difference) |
